Why was it you who loved me?
for me, you were crazy and in need

I thought I could be there and you be here
when was it that it was you I feared
Even now and today it's you I need here

Why did you come into my life
when you broke your mirror and used it as a knife
when you disappeared that week i thought you died
But I knew it was only me who lied

In four days it will be a year
And still it's you i will fear

Why did you love me
Why couldn't you leave me be
Now it's only you I wish to see

Just because of you i had to leave
and with my mother I wanted to flee

Not the country, Just the city
Not past the boundary, just a little bitty ways away

All I want to know is
Why was it me?
you wanted to see

I think I'll go and drown in the sea
