I am so far away, and yet I feel so close.
I wish I could look into your eyes,
I want to feel that comfort again.
I feel so empty here without you.

But you have locked yourself up like a chest.
I only hope that I can be your key.
Maybe someday you will realize it,
That you’re the one for me, and I am the one for you.

I thought that I knew the path into your heart,
I thought I could brave the storm.
But in the end, maybe it isn’t meant to be.
Maybe you’re not really the one for me.

No! I feel it my heart and soul.
You’re more special to me than anyone could know.
If only you were not blinded by the fog,
Then you could see the light.

I will be true to you though you may not believe,
I say I am not like them and I say it from my heart.
If you would open your eyes, then you would see.
I am everything you could want me to be.
