Her eyes looked dead in the endless night,
Her soul could never again be free.
She lay there still and unmoving
waiting for the next move in the
endless masquerade.
Her lips moved of their own accord,
Her heart beat slowed it's ceaseless beat.
She closed her eyes and saw the black that would soon envelope her life.
Her eyes reopened glowing gold,
Her heart would never beat again,
Her hunger now replaced her love.
The masquerade would never end.
