You have given so much in life
You do, and take, and not alot in return
I can say we are all kids at heart
We look at adolescent as something hard
Then comes teens, oh my worse
Your somewhere between teen, and adult
What does one do?
Well fall for the "love"
So much goes through ones mind
Do , I? or Dont I?
You do not stop and think
Keep going, wondering what is, wrong or right
One day ...It hits you...
Im an adult
Im on my own
Im free
Then it really hits
Life
Reality
All is discovered, that life isnt all fun and games
Its work and bills
Its hurt and heartache
Its death and pain
Now,,,you say
Was it so bad?
Life is too short
Live the way your happy
Dont dwell
Dont look at hurt
"LOVE" and do it with heart
Feel and do it with soul
Most of all......Never hate
This is to a best friend who has lost a close relation.......Know always say I love or like , never go anywhere with hatred, It may be the last time you meet. IM SORRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love you! Always know that, and i will never stop!

Sweet and inspirational, though a few spelling errors stood out.
Take care,
David

brew,
You have a deep spirit. I guess that is one of the few benefits of pain. It seems, the more pain you are able to absorb, the more you are able to Unconditionally Love. As a teacher I had contact with many social workers. Social workers are almost always gentle, kind, compassionate and Loving. All the ones I have met were. After getting to know each of these social workers, I discovered each had incredibly painful stories to tell about their youth and early adult years.
For the longest time I knew to let it all go, not to dwell on the past, to be happy in the moment and not to worry. I just didn't know how the hell to do it!
Again, your poem approached the terrors of a Goliath with the simplicity of a little David. You distill so much down to its uncluttered basics.
