Write me a thousand words
Of what you see
Of what you are
What is real and what is not
Write of how you feel
How you look
Paint me a picture
What I see are white walls
Papers scattered everywhere
I’m in a small room
Surprised I haven’t suffocated
I am real
All else doesn’t matter
For all I care it’s fake
I feel helpless and small
Yet I smile so broadly
On this tiny bed
My eyes are red
And my hair long and frizzy
A night like this is perfect
For a soul to get lost in
So my soul wonders on
As I lie empty on my bed
Keep this portrait
I wrote it for you…
