Perched upon my windowsill
Singin” a early morning melody
I heard you sang a beautiful song
Come home, come home,
I thought the little bluebird
Was an angel sent from heaven
As he perched upon my window
Sill singin”
With a voice sounds as if it was
Sent from heaven..
The little bluebird finished his
Beautiful Serenade..
With a heavenly chirp, chirp,
Chirp..
He glowed of a bright light
And spreads his wings and
Into the heavens he flew.

This is a very lovely and articulate poem about the sweet cheerful demeanor and lovely singing of the blue bird. It is astounding, I think, how we so often overlook such simple but beautiful things like songs the birds sing. I think you captured perfectly the beauty that we unfortunately miss by placing this experience in such expressive terms.

oh my. that was beautiful insight into something so simply percieved as meaningless. if only more people would apreciate simplicity for something amazing.
a lovely poem indeed. |
