Where my warmth ends you provide the heat
Where my heart fails you provide the beat
When my head aches your voice is my relief
As my heart shutters
You steady the beat
As my soul abandons me
You ease this unbearable grief
In the dead of summer I crave your touch
With snowflakes piling high
I seek out your love
A daunting endeavor
As intense forces oppose
I offer you something special to remember
Something tender,
I do suppose
Where my attributes don’t suffice, you are my compliment
A tribute to soul-mates,
The affirmation of a venerable covenant
Where my intuition strays,
And I am left hung to this tall tree
Untie the rope
Allow me to drop
Down to you,
So we may be free
Always believe
In love over hate
In crying over shame
With all for lost
Everything is changed
