My loss of faith it haunts me
it's true I once believed
You know that I once had hope
but I feel we've been deceived
I use to wait on answers
and the truths they would reveal
but now I think it was all a lie
or at least that's how I feel
I used to pray every day
but now I wonder why
I wasted time on useless words
as I watch my loved ones die
I use to think that nothing was wrong
that it was all according to plan
Now I don't know what to think
or where it is I stand

Great piece of poetry...wonderful rhythm and rhyme. I can relate to these words, as I'm sure others do as well.
Peace,
Laura (who finds it easier to go with the flow and just believe....all things happen as they should, for a reason....sometimes it just takes awhile for the reasons to be revealed) |

great poem of lost faith, which many of us have in this day and age...seeking a higher level of consciousness and belief in ones self is a comfort..."Imagine". |
