A poem for him -revised-

Contributed by spyke_420 on Wednesday, 7th November 2007 @ 07:45:42 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

They stood there like it was a dream
She looked into his eyes to make sure that he was real and not just a fantasy
She lays her head on his chest and he holds her close
Hugging her in his warmth
With the feeling swelling inside of her she beings to cry
He holds her tighter
Her salty tears socking into his shirt
She pushes away from him and looks into his eyes again still not sure weather this is real or not
He takes one of her hands in his but her hand remains in a fist not sure what to do
Feeling his touch she relaxes and opens her hand
Her fingers softly gliding in his until at last they are entwined
They squeeze each others hands to savor the moment
Staring deep in the others eyes she looks up and him and he looks down at her not ever wanting to look away
His eyes are so deep and majestic
She is overwhelmed with emotion again that a tear slides down her cheek
With the other hand he wipes her tear away
Gingerly stroking her cheek with his finger only to gently put his hand on the side of her face
She closes hers eyes and relaxes into his strong but gentle hand
After a couple of seconds she opens her eyes and gazes into his
She follows his embrace by doing the same thing, putting her hand on his cheek
He relaxes into her hand
The warmth of her hand on his skin makes her feel real and alive
Softly he brings her close to him and runs his hand through he silky hair before he looks deep into her eyes
Deep into her soul and passionately kisses her
They share a deep kiss
She pulls her self away from him and looks deep within his eyes
And with all the feeling in her heart she says 3 words
“I love you”
And once again tears come to her eyes
He holds her as close to him as he can
Almost like they were one being and not two
Holding her there he whispers delicately into her ear
“I love you too”

This poem made my heart flutter, Spyke!
I was in awe and in love the whole time I read it.
I know what love feels like when you feel as if you're in a dream.
I just don't know what an intimate relationship feels like, because I'm too ugly to get a boyfriend.
Anyway, love your poem.
I'm am Cupid, hear my arrows soar...
(hee hee)
