like all stories or reason for the rhyme
this tales about land the kind we own and we buy
Realtors some abusers the most
stealing unowned land from times scared that we boast
sign marks billboards a smear for our eyes
distrusted muse blind in our time
linking fragments meaning for our own
false time longing for a goal
singing with praises biting our tongue
calling distress nowhere to run
swimming with sharks pawns all we are
missing reality our hands in the jar
yards a plenty chorus they sing
hearing some toll a bell slowly rings
calm water front a million dollar view
a paved parade with trouble thats true
just gleam and the disdain all profit in point
another shack another profit point

Another well penned write of our society and it's ills.
Folks think they're living big....not gonna matter when it all falls down. Thanks for sharing, brother.
Much peace,
