Struggle

Every day is a struggle
I know I am in trouble
What once was reliable
Is no longer viable

The pain is intense
Each step making no sense
I look to God in despair
And hope HE is there

Try as I might
There is no relief in sight
Please God show me the way
To make it through the day

Yet, when I think of you
I know what I must do
Keep on trying, trying
Even though I feel like crying
