Voices from far away
so very far away
maybe it's yesterday calling
it's calling
Sweet sounds that I hear
whispers up in my ear
tears so very near falling
they're falling
My eyes have sprang a leak
tears now upon my cheek
words I try to speak stalling
still stalling
To only remind me
of the sorrows that bind me
to the burdens life finds me hauling
I'm hauling
