I hate this feeling of aggravation
Hate this torturing of frustration
It takes one word, it takes one voice
It takes one sound, it takes one choice
To ignite this curse so deep within
I hate the rumbling of the thundering sky
The buzzing sounds of the common fly
I hate the ignorance I see so clear
I hate myself and I hate my fear
I hate this night and this night's sin
I hate and despise this darkness of mine
The obligation on the day of Valentine's
The falseness of the truth some people show
The idiocy that some smart people know
I hate the way no one can win
I hate this patriotism out of pity
The rising smoke of the inner cities
I want to see this all changed now
And keep this peace with a life-long vow
And yet these wars help the world spin
I hate how my privacy is now gone
The power-hungry on my front, green lawn
The false and petty controlling my fate
There are too many things that I hate
I wish that everything would be right...
