This life we live that I call death,
Beneath all joy my heart can rest,
Away from Angels I’ve come to detest,
The flight of Christ above all rest.
Carry me far, far away, and rest my soul by another’s grave,
Catch me when I fall today, until the time 'Death Frees The Enslaved'.
Hold me true to what we hold dear, witness the release of misery and fear,
watch my life end, then your’s fall apart, and know how much you broke my heart.
