You ARE my humble abode.
The place in which I live.
I will carry you along life's road.
My last morsel of food I would give.
I would take your tears, and cry them for you.
Knowing to deserve that, there's nothing you could do.
I would bathe you when you are not well.
I would find the potion when under a spell.
When you have no clothes to wear.
I would mend, and sew them bring them right there.
And if you have no shoes for your feet, I will see your feet are not bare.
Give to you my body's warmth if you are cold.
When life is to hard to bare, my hand to hold!
And if you have no answers, I will ask your questions why.
I will always say I love you, followed with a sigh.
When you are so down, feel there is no hope
And in the darkness of your soul you grope.
I will pray for you a smile upon your heart,
And ask God to erase the pain, from its very start!
This would be an honor for me,
To do this all for you!
