maybe that's what it really is
a little snow globe world
for me to live inside
and wither away
a pane of glass between me and the sunshine
the sound of laughter
the smiles
a small space to occupy with bitter feelings
with every frozen tear
and heartless thought
a little bubble
to call home
to call a cold reality
captivating me within it's icy grasp
containing all my fears
and faults
my little snow globe world
for me to live inside
and wither away

Good write. I am familiar with these feelings. I admit I love snow globes and was attracted to your title. I'm glad I stopped in to read you. Thanks for sharing.
Peace,
