easily overlooked when i stare in your eyes and they see right through me.
my insignificance has long been a part of my life
i've carried it around with all my other baggage.
I waited and wasted the moment i was waiting for, my incessent rambling was that and no more.
decieve my heart, trick my heart, im sure i loved you at some time.
i thought you said youd be here longer.
i complain about leaving left astray
when i open my heart and decide to push you away.
im just scared to bare my soul.

aren't we all? but i think we all do, if only a little, through our poetry. this is great - real stream of consciousness, perhaps more genuine feeling than poems forced into stanzas and rhyme? keep them coming, Kate x |
