Carbon Copy Dolly Dear
The symbol of a newer age
The painful priest and bailiff beer
Where lies the corpse of a wisened sage
All skeletal in a soulless sheath
and Melted into cells of sin
I'll hope there is no underneath
and only ever what's within.
How easily we save ourselves
and Bludgeon other's firmer lives
To put our spirits on the shelves
Among the blood, the drugs, the knives.
Claim to full immunity
Against the products of the times
Will we not reach tranquility
and Banish all our hateful Crimes?
