I KISSED HER
AND RAN MY FINGERS THROUGH HER HAIR
I WAS CALMED
BY THE LOVING WARMTH OF HER KIND STARE
AND IN HER EYES
THE SUNS DANCING, SPINNING RAYS WERE MIRRORED
RADIANT COLORS
THE VERY ESSENCE OF NATURE
A FLOWER PLACED
GENTLY IN HER CURLS THAT SHONE
WITH A VIBRANT GLOW AND
SHADES OF GOLD
AND HER HAND
AT ONE MOMENT PESSED AGAINST MINE
AND LEFT A
SOOTHING, NUMBING TOUCH BEHIND
SHE SMILED .......
THE SUNSET
GLIMMERED ON THE HAUNTED TREES
AS THEY MOURNED
THEIR FALLEN AUTUMN LEAVES
AND THE FIELD OF STARS
MOURNED THE DAY
AND THE WIND
GENTLY WHISPERED HER NAME
"DEATH"...............
