I want you to know
That I care about you
And that I'm here for you
And I'll always lend a helping hand.
But I can't pick up the pieces
I want to know that I can be near
Somehow I know that you'll be okay
I'm sorry that you're broken.
More though, I'm sorry that I can't
Help you more on your way
And show you how great you are
But you have lots of friends for that.
I'm sorry that I can't be more for you
It's hard for me to give you a hug
If you never seem to really need it
Maybe it helps you more than it shows.
But most of all; I just wanted you to know
That I'll be a shoulder to cry on
I can't fix you because I'm always so far away
I want you to know, that I love you anyway.

I do like this poem. Sometimes it's usually easier to get something off your chest through poetry. It's normally what I would do.
