English Breakfast Black tea colliding
With a cloud of sugar and milk
Friends in eachother confiding
As coffee goes down like silk
Amaretto biscotti crumbling
As emotions and conversations are bubbling
Black raspberry cheesecake devine
Eyes stray and minds wander
Upon the art shrine
Bringing people closer
A neon ring on the wall, doors hanging above
Stairs leading to an overlook
In this little coffee shop of love
Sitting in a cozy little nook
I feel at home as I glance out the window
The street's all aglow
There's no sign of sorrow
For it can wait until tomorrow

1st off, I love your tittles, you could write a book just using those, and now this phrase,
" In this little coffee shop of love
Sitting in a cozy little nook
I feel at home as I glance out the window
The street's all aglow
There's no sign of sorrow
For it can wait until tomorrow "
Simply magnificent, so quaint, reminded me
of my home town New England. Not to mention also made me hungry with all of your vivid descriptions lol. Lovely, just lovely.

This was beautiful. Yes, we all have our places like this, but you've captured quite well the feeling of... home. Well written.
Take care,
David |
