Carry On

Contributed by deadheadpoet on Thursday, 11th October 2007 @ 02:22:41 AM in AEST
Topic: InspirationalPoems

My head feels so full of tumultuous thoughts
I realize on my on volition
that I must...
Carry on
No longer can I stand around and wait
Wait for myself to make a firm decision
on life and what I need or want from it
I choose to follow my heart
It tells me over and over again
"I love you"
It still beats in this rhythm
that only you know
I tried to toss it aside
this love, this bond
But I couldn't
I can't
I almost went somewhere
in which I may have not returned
simply because I would not be able too...
It would not have been the same...
And now I look at you and I know
I must find forgiveness and
simply continue to...
Carry on...

Wonderful write. Lace up your boot straps and continue this crazy journey! Following your heart is the wisest thing you can do. Because when your heart is happy, everything else falls into place. ~Adreana

Sweet laura, that picture is so damn perfect. Leaving the baggage behind
and moving forward without it is SO much less of a burden, you know?

I know how difficult this has been for you, (and it ain't over, I know), but
you are moving in a very positive direction, sis and it can only get better
from here. :) This is brilliant. I love how this speaks of real love and
devotion and moving past problems and complications and finding
forgiveness. It's quite often, the hardest word to practice.

I'm so proud of you. Truly. You have handled yourself with much
respect and love. (not just for others, but yourself as well. ) And
you have found your way. Bravo sis! B R A V O !!

here for you, always ~

*hugs you SO damn tight*

~MG
