I have been drifting for a while
Down this warm river of hope
Keeping my eyes on the shores
Listening to the creatures and trees
We've all been down this river before
Clinging tightly to our oars
Bracing ourselves for strong currents
Unable to control that which moves us
The sunlight comes and goes
Like the happiness in my heart
Eclipsing my visions for the future
Nothing ever completely goes dark
I continue to let myself be carried
But I'm thinking of losing the oar
Perhaps if I give up on controlling fate
Fate will finally set me free

This is truly beautiful, what insight and wisdom amongst everything else it covers about life and ways in which one can choose to look at it, i love the lines in it there discriptions, warm and touching. Beautifuly
conveyed and deeply meaningful . . .
