Starting Over

Contributed by CrystalWinters on Sunday, 7th October 2007 @ 09:17:18 PM in AEST
Topic: DreamsandWishes

Thoughts swirl in my head
Of what I wish had been so
The grass beneath is my bed
I remember dreams of long ago
When I spent so many hours out in the snow
Looking up at the stars, dreaming
The hot tears would stream down my face
As I cried out to God, my heart aching
Now I find I'm in the same place
Just a different year
But still the same fear
Into the unknown I go, living day by day
All the while I feverently pray
That I find you, whoever you are
My Light,My Life, My Shining Star
I pray I find you soon before I loose all hope in love
My angel sent from above
My husband, My love...

What can i say, a real poem written by a woman showig herself to be a breath of fresh air in these times, such hope and
longing for love, and that last line, now i
hope i don't sound cliche, WOW! you

Dreams slip away, reality comes drowning out hopes. But as we struggle and fight for a standing place, we find strength we never knew, and grow more powerful than our dreams could've ever seen. Fight, and you will not be left alone.
Take care,
David
