When You are Gone

Soon you will be gone,
Your face never again will I see,
Over time I’m sure I will be fine,
But until time takes its pay,
I will dream of you everyday,
I will try to bloom into a flower,
One that you would be proud to see,

As the wind blows and the sunsets,
Stars appear and whisper your name,
One day I will be ok,
One day I will be strong,
But for now the tears pour,
And my heart breaks,

Yes tonight I long for your smile,
Right now your voice echoes in my ears,
Why can’t I let you go?
Why can’t I be better than this?
Summer becomes winter,
And soon you will be gone,

Time flows by,
Laughing at my foolish heart,
I know the truth,
But my heart won’t let you go,
So until you leave for good,
I will try to step forward,

To move on to becoming beautiful,
A person you would be glad to call friend,
Free from the past and future,
Still bond by sorrow my soul cries,
Someday I will be stronger than this,
Someday.....

This really hit me, I'm kind of going thorugh this myself right now, I really thought this was great I love these lines:

Still bond by sorrow my soul cries,
Someday I will be stronger than this
