You are my tears
My pain
My scars
My hate
The acid
Slowly creeping from my stomach
My own personal gag reflex
The vomit
The callus over my heart
The three legged chair
The spiders in my pillow
The glass in my knees
You are my tears
My pain
My scars
My hate
You are my father

*gasp*
wow .. I was completely caught off guard with your ending.
I am in awe .. and a deep, (DEEP) understanding of this. It is
so amazingly poetic, and painfully real.
Damn. I am relating so much to this, that it is hard to remain
objective, I'm afraid. BUT, it's fine writing when one can extract
emotion and disturbance from another. You've certainly
done that. And done it well!!
Great post!

I was very moved by this, everyday I'm torn between this and love for my dad it's hard to love when they've caused so much pain that are like scars that never leave. I thought you did an excellent job with this |

I know exactly how you feel...
I hope that if/when you have your own children you teach them about the beauty and love in life... |
