It seems like yesterday,
when my baby girl was brought into this world.
She looked into my eyes,
around my hand her little fingers curled.
I protected her,
from all of the obsecne.
And I'd do anything,
to save her from the unclean.
I was always there,
to tuck her in at night.
And to hold her when she cried,
to tell her that everying was alright.
Years have gone by,
and sometimes I got fusterated.
But it was her teenage years,
when everything seemed complicated.
Now a tragedy has happened,
and everything's become blurry.
My baby girl is gone,
taken in such a hurry.
I just wish someone,
could take it all away.
Like this is all just a dream,
and she's still here today.
But then I'd wake up,
lying there with fresh tears.
My baby girl's really gone,
she's no longer here.
