Screams are fired off like guns,
People die as the bloody river runs.
The buildings lay there while the liqiud death rains,
Shadows are painted onto concrete plains.
There is no hope, There is no love,
There is only the destruction that was hurled from above.

Pebbles,
Though this was a brief write, you indeed hit the nail on the head, so to speak. It was short, invasive, and destructive sort of like that horrid bomb we dropped on so many innocent peoples. When will America ever have to stand trials for "her" war crimes....god, I wonder. War...people seem to like it, the killing never stops. Thanks for sharing.
