That beach, I remember your smile
your laugh that was free from spoil
we touched as we played in the sand
I a boy and you just a goirl.
Each of seventeen summers all sunny
of sixteen winters in snow
we kissed as we played in the sand
you Sue, and me known as Joe.
Delightfully crazy with youth
care free we walked on the beach
we cuddled as we played in the sand
I remember, now you out of reach.
