I'm so sorry babe,
but I can't take it back.
Now we've both moved on,
our hearts bruised and black.

The ending fell before us,
so I took to the light,
found the love of my life,
and left you alone in the night.

Now, it's over
and it's awkward to see
each other with our
new lovers to be.

I do feel bad
but yet happy for you,
cause now, you got her,
you got what you deserve.

All is calm between us now.
We're both as glad as can be
Even though you weren' t the one,
you'll always have love from me.

Sometimes it takes a lot of strength of character to accept a former love with someone else, even when you know that there is nothing left between you.
