Because we are all like ghosts
invisible to so many
even those we once meant to so much
our form slowly fades from view
and we become another blur in the crowd
another memory almost forgotten
a symbol of another time, another place
another alternative reality and future
our paths of travel unlimited
even through walls of deceit and vanity
God knows our path
but why don't we trust him?
He commands us to love
Why do remain ghosts to each other?
Our apparitions slowly fade
like the sunset in the western sky,
So beautiful yet so often unnoticed
God gives and takes away,
Yet we must praise Him
Even with nothing
For nothing is something
We are alive
