A part of me died
When you said goodbye.
The smell of your cologne
Still lingers on the pillows.
Shut out the lights
I won't be here when you get back.
A part of me still weeps
And long after your blood has dried
Your memories smother me
Now it's me and death.
Shut out the lights
So I can be alone.
A part of me wakes up screaming
Scratching at my skin
Wondering why I care
I guess I'm missing you enough to cry.
