Awakened from my slumber,
What do I hear lumber?
It’s my snack,
What a treat!
A thousand years and nothing to eat!
Fill my body with the feast,
Getting full?
Not in the least.
Groom myself before I leave,
Wonder where I left my keys?
In my bed,
But of course!
My wooden tomb of such remorse.
Jump out the window,
And fly again.
Here I come,
To complete my sin.
