I am the one who loves you

Do you really know me,
Would you like to know,
Can you trust me,
I have said it in my word.

I am not like others,
Who don't seem to care,
I am the one who created you,
I am the only one that cares.

You see you can listen to others,
You can believe that they care,
But my love for you child,
Will always be there.

See, The Father had a purpose,
He shared it with me,
I said yes, I will do it,
Because I love you for all eternity.

When I was beaten and whipped,
When the thorns were pushed into my brow,
I knew all about you,
I bet you wonder how.

Well, the Father formed you in the womb,
He thought of you then you became,
You were given to your parents,
They gave you a name.

So before I died upon the cross,
I looked way out there,
Into the future,
And saw you there.

What kind of person you would be,
What words you would say,
Things that you did and will do,
To get your own way.

I can see into your heart,
I can read your mind,
I know every word you will speak,
And I know I needed to tell you at this time.

I love you no matter what you do,
No matter what you say,
That is why I gave my life,
For so many that day.

Never forget that I love you,
Even when you feel down and out,
When you feel no one cares,
Just know, I will be there.

Loving you, wanting to hold you,
Never letting you go,
No-one can take you out of my palm,
Because I love you so.

(Jesus loves you this I know, For the bible tells me so, Little ones to Him belong, They are weak, But He is strong, Yes, Jesus loves you, Yes Jesus loves you, Yes Jesus loves you. The Bible tells me so.)
