'Till I have you

Contributed by Gigi_15 on Thursday, 20th September 2007 @ 04:49:09 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Slowly he was taken away
The one thing I only wanted
The one thing I was searching for all this time
Him who I once could’ve called mine
For my lost mystery
For my found love
For my now lost love
For no one else
But you

With a vacant expression
I look upon reason
Found that none could suffice
To end our love
When we have only begun

Therefore I won’t run
Nor sink in this emptiness
Or camouflaged by the darkness
But I will fight till I make it right
For there is still a light
Our light which is lit
Even in the darkest of times
Our love we share which has me here
Which’s end is nowhere near

Infinite
Whole
Constant
Sacred
Unconditional
Is only a fraction of my love for you
Something so rare we share
Cannot just be thrown away

So I will fight
With the light inside you gave me
To you it is I belong everlastingly
I will go on strong
Till you see and believe
Till I finally have you here with me
