Worlds Apart

The sunlight,
Clear, piercing, golden blaze,

Mere shadows on the wall,
Dancing, laughing, free,

Wind kissing the earth gently,
Swaying with its loving whistle,

Shoulders broad and straight,
Strong, impervious, behind,

Walking on paven’ white,
Peacefully, lightly, calmly,

Hair of Raven,
Swaying along the clouds calling,

Always to rain one step behind,
Unnoticed, silent, compassion,

Eyes of blue,
Sadly, kindly, painfully,

Greens Sprouted from worlds apart,
In this garden we meet,

As long as the feather falls,
Gliding, carefully, rejected,

And the night approaches,
Quietly, powerfully, darkening,

For the last time,
Outline of shoulders,

Fly away,
Far, high, oceans apart

Live again life,
Anew, moving, absent,

Never hearts words spoken,
Hopeless at first.

Who can bring together,
That which is worlds apart?
