a man no more

Contributed by nightwolf on Tuesday, 18th September 2007 @ 07:24:16 AM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

you changed me from the inside out
you stripped me of my pride
my self respect is deep in doubt
i cant tell you how much i have cried

you told me that you loved me
that you would forever more
that you would be there so the world would see
the man that you adore

but behind my back and while im gone
you see another man
i still dont see what went wrong
or whats wrong with the way i am

i felt like a man when you were with me
i felt like i was more
but through my tears im sure you can see
that im a man no more

The ending just screamed of pain.. sadness throughout this write. Nice form and rhyme as well. I hope your pain subsides soon.
