stay the same
you smiling flowers on the grave
you knew me when
life was life, but that was then
i pause to say
my bones will break unless you stay
i shake til i sleep
the morphine swells and bakes too sweet
this cavity is my heart
i'm sure it holds hate filled dark
so i walk the line
sniff and snort and lose my mind
I have my addictions
and i'll hide them from God
I have my predictions
that I'll someday be gone
it's a sure thing
like the snow in the sun
after winter has passed
you'll move onto life's fun
it's just as well...just as well
fuel of me
