for all those times you think you want to break down,
but hang on and smile to those around you without a frown,
here's my shoulder,
for all the days that seemed so bright, which started happy,
then worries came around and it turned out crappy,
here's my shoulder,
for all those nights filled with endless dreams,
that are more like nightmares and night stallions it seems,
here's my shoulder,
just lay your head right here, and try to smile,
i'll keep you safe from all these things for a while,
and give you a big hugg,
right on my shoulder, yeah that's right,
and let my loving arms hold you tight,
just lay back your head,
when your heart is heavy and you just want to sit,
come sit by me and we'll be peaceful for a bit,
and give a little sigh,
'cause my shoulder's always free,
it is attached to the love in me,
and no matter what you do,
i'll always be there to get you through,
'cause my friend i love you.
