Where is her familiar face?
That voice which my ears attuned
Fates interwoven torn a sunder
Severed at their source
Memories fleeting
Unleash creatures i recognize
Reveling in their agonizing torment
My ego crushed, all I know swept out to sea
My mind yearning to be rid of this pain
Seeks within the dark embrace of death
Melancholy thoughts overwhelm me
As I dive to find its source
Traversing the desolate plains
Of times so happy, so foriegn to me now
The past a burden too caustic to bear
Dragging me to the unfathomable darkness below
Alone I accept it's welcomed hand
Alone I forget the one I one i loved
Alone I plummet into the relentless abyss
That is the void of my heart

Looks like you have a typo in the third from the last line.
But otherwise a great metaphoric piece! |

It's a deep, sad poem. But it is very good. Nice work. |
