Have you ever wondered
Just how much you affect them?
Have you ever wondered
If just you could make a difference?
Have you ever wondered
If you had been nicer this would never happen?
Have you ever thought
This is all my fault
Have you ever felt
Like you were a cause of the death?
Have you ever thought
Maybe this person could be like them?
Have you ever cared
That you hurt that person with your cruel words?
Have you ever cared
That you might have had a hand
In breaking those poor kids
And causing them to crack
Have you ever thought
If I'm nice to them, maybe I can prevent it?
I don't think you've wondered
If they could be the next Cho Seung-Hu

oh my .... I was totaled by the last line here. Yes, there are many who are a product of their environment, though
(without getting controversial here), I believe most begin with those tendencies, (the psychotic).
But there is much wisdom and innocence in your words. I've heard that saying, "kids can be so cruel", but why? Why
are they that way? As a society I think we've become, either too apathetic, or too tolerant, or both. It shows
an inherent lack of respect and compassion for others.
I love your words. Such simple thoughts, really. But there are so many who would dismiss them as easily
as blinking. It's a sad state of affairs.... the world we live in. I wish I had answers.
Great post.
