Heart Break

Contributed by deadheadpoet on Saturday, 1st September 2007 @ 04:45:07 AM in AEST
Topic: anguished

I love you
but loathe you
Does that make any
sense at all?
Breathing your air is
toxic.
Trusting in you
only led to a heart
broken so badly
sadly reduced
to a mere
pumping organ
Meaningless chambers
just doing the normal
routine.
Atria and Ventricles
they feel hollow
although a pulse
I do possess..

How incredible that the words and the physical pain of it all have been captured here. Great piece Sis. It is the true anatomy of the pain of heartbreak.

Matters of the heart are always strange and mysterious. How can love be so beautiful and destructive at the same time? Nicely written!

*hugs you tighter than tight*

sis, I know how affected you are and how desperate you feel ...

this is a perfect rendering of a trust and confidence in someone whom you thought would never take that for
granted with a betrayal. And the heartache that ultimately ensues when it is. . . . very sad and painful, sis.
Hard to read, but even harder is it to know that you are truly going through this. Your light shall pour through.
Of that, I have no doubt. I know it feels like the world is crashing down, but there are those who love and
care for you and THAT, is one of the many things you have going for you.

I hope you find your way out of this madness soon, sweet sister. It's hell not to know what to do--

peace, love and hugs

~MG

If one dwells in the pain, then he or she is empowering the other with control over one's emotions. I'm pretty certain that isn't worth anything so check out that site decide just how much you're willing to invest in yourself and how much you wish for others. My first(read: best) recommendation is: for you to you!
Anyway, many thanks for sharing -- I'll yak at you later... :~)
