We start with a dance slow moving we climb our way
as motion sweeps us in nothing rhythmic our stance that portrays
swaying to the sounds we lift our arms raised
swirling in angler motions like light in morning haze
like leaves in the wind archaic in grace
movements in motion no colour or race
like poetry all the words just spill out and flow
finding reality just a wake in a tow
in suttle sweat the beat gets strong
longing in motion the spirit lives in the song
movement like stars that skip to their own beat
splashing the ocean in visions set in solum deep
like waves in tides the flow goes between thick
sloshing in sounds as nature seems fit
some dances give to the gods
this rhythm as dice in the fortune they cause
spirit driven this anger begins
no sense of hope but the beat deep within
calling for more in the circle we wield
fire in center the logs the just just build
sway in this dance a long in the moon
shadows in morn dark is there tune

Wilder,
Once again you have penned a poem that very much appeals to me. I love your heart and soul, my brother. This piece was rhythmic. I felt like I was at a hippie fest dancing 'round the fire with fellow Earth brothers and sisters. Thanks for taking me there with your dance....I loved the title as well.
Great write.
Peace, love and hugs,
Your Missouri sister *wink* |
