My heart’s rather cold
And my body flinches with every beat

My heart carries no mercy
It seems it wants to hurt me

It’s frozen chambers
Remind me of those cold nights…

The ones I’d spend alone
Knowing nothing of real life

Only that memories can hurt
More than my mind

Memories slowly freeze me
Making it impossible to feel

So forgive me family
Forgive me friends

If I seem rather cold, far away…
It is because I am.
