so long with out u

Contributed by lostrelic on Tuesday, 28th August 2007 @ 01:13:17 PM in AEST
Topic: abstract

like twisted mice on square wheels we run our day
no matter if we bump and grind in other spaces we display
running in walls we still smash this course
with no wheels to this carriage we are still kicking this horse

we splash and display the art deep within
not longing for truth just cash we can spin
are graceful need has lost in the can
we step on our own to call ME the true man
step in this flood but don't sweep away
to much garble to get in our way

we long for the seasons to bring yielding fruit
but the pollution we mass to plant our true root
corrupt to the bone we fetch and we throw
noting is real but ego's still grow

massed in confusion and the pulpit we stand
weak as we stand still listening to the band
lost in two step we memorize the steps
dancing to beats we will never forget

dumb as you are just deaf in true time
harvesting anything that grows in your crime
hid the blood that slips from friends back
sell it all just to find crack
excuses excuses all that you find
as reality bites your golden behind
i have said all i can with lunacy within
only wanting humanity to stand up and begin

Relic,
I love where your heart is. These lines were wonderful....

"I have said all I can with lunacy within
only wanting humanity to stand up and begin"

Peace, love and hugs,
Laura
