As I listened to the lies
The ones I’d told myself
And thought that the excuses
Were all that I had left
So I came to believe
That the reasons were the blame
Till I found that there’s no difference
And that they’re all the same
As each time it just got easier
Than the time just before
And every time it happened
I tried to just ignore
That no matter at the difference
Though it now seemed less and less
I’ve learned to just accept it
Rather than try and clean the mess

How often does this happen until it becomes a favourite habit. I do it most of the time.bern |
