Closed Eyes

Contributed by Kayden on Saturday, 25th August 2007 @ 12:13:49 PM in AEST
Topic: Grief

My little angel don't you cry a tear
You are safe cause daddy's near
Always all night watching over you
Because my little angel I love you

As I run my fingers through your soft gold hair
Spread your little wings and fly up there
Fly amongst the clouds fly amongst the trees
Fly right next to mommy

As I see your eyes close for the last time
An eternal peaceful rest unwind
The last thing you see is daddy finally cry
You've taken all his love with you to fly

I love you
Yes, I love you
Daddy loves you
I will always love you

As you fly away daddy hits your bed
De wraps his arms around your head
I love you he yells in vain
With all his heart with all the pain

Please oh God don't take her from me
The only one I love that's here with me
The only one that keeps the tears from constantly
Falling over when you took mommy

Now there's nothing left here for me
The only ones I loved were taken from me
The only thing left to keep my company
Are painful tears painful memories

Of the way that things used to be
Even torture me in my dreams
The only thing left that still holds true
Is these three words I say to you

I love you
Yes, I love you
Daddy loves you
I will always love you.... She was

My whole world
My whole heart
Every tear
Every Smile
