Paintdrops of ancient blues
Color your eyes with a sky of hues.
Stopped in my tracks upon first glance,
The crystal beauty encourages advance.
So innocent a smile within your eyes,
Connects me as if to mesmerize.
So great a wonder I look away,
Words stuck in my throat can’t convey.
Two jewels of wonder stare at me,
I wonder how such a beauty came to be.
Without an answer, I continue to pursue
Those beautiful eyes made of blue.

Well done! The way you can put such beauty into words is a gift, and not one that has gone unnoticed. |
