An enemy pursued down a road a little too far
As night falls wraiths and shadows fly to a silent song
While being chased he looks to the sky to find not a single star
Being seen as a criminal for what society and the lawhave deemed wrong
For as a starving man finally finds food and starts to binge
Behind him as they draw closer he tried to see the end
As he catches his breath he tries to plot his revenge
But with a single bullet from behind he finally understands the law will always win

This was a good poem. I liked the flow and it read fairly smooth. Well written. It touches upon many meanings. Great poem. Oh and thanks for the comments on my poems.
Take care
