Can you hear the children crying

Can you hear
the children crying
Day by day
they keep on dying
And still the world
it keeps denying
That all along
it’s been lying

Can you see
all death’s destruction
A brought about
planned construction
A simple case
of moral deduction
Values lost
through faith’s reduction

Can you see
that hope is failing
The whole of man
is now derailing
A soulful cry
of woeful wailing
At all our dreams
away are sailing

Can you hear
your soul a screaming
No my friend
you’re not dreaming
The pain inside
your heart is reaming
The hand of fate
is not redeeming

Can you hear
the children crying
Day by day
they keep on dying
And still the world
it keeps denying
That all along
it’s been lying

Good gracious wordsy, this is a powerful, POWERFUL write!
And a damn find one at that. So much wisdom meshed with
sadness and a hopelessness that grips the soul. Damn.

Your words are strong, but hearts are so weak sometimes. This
world leaves me weeping more than it should and wondering
often, why and how the world keeps getting worse. And why
are we letting it?

Exceptional write, friend. Tremendously though provoking.

we all do and see what we think others might want us too, thats the problem with the world today. we dont use our own judgement all the time, because it might be the wrong to others or not acceptable. i hate that. people are just getting stranger and stranger as times goes on. such a deep touching write. keep touching all, never stop

Great R&R and an excellent subject. The world is going to hell in a handbasket. It just gets worse and worse everyday. Great write. Bravo!

People, who do nothing to help a corrupt world, are just as weak as those who do the corrupting. All of humanity is at fault. How is good change supposed to occur if no one is willing to fight for justice?

~~~~~~~~~Exceptional write and very thought-provoking~~~~~~~~~
